Sweet Baby Ray's Chicken

February 4, 2014

I found this recipe about a year ago on Pinterest from the website Just a Pinch. The chicken is very flavorful, and has a tiny kick to it from the red pepper flakes.

It goes well with any side dish, such as corn, rice, or baked potatoes. I also like to make sandwiches with it. I'll include instructions for that below too.

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken breasts
1 18 ounce bottle of Sweet Baby Rays
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon garlic
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

1. Put the chicken in the crockpot, and mix all other ingredients in a bowl.
2. Pour the BBQ mixture over the chicken.
3. Cook on low for 5-6 hours if using raw chicken, or 8 hours on low if using frozen chicken breasts.

If you want to make sandwiches, shred the chicken in the crock pot. Put on buns, and broil in the oven on high for 2 minutes. This will lightly toast the buns for the sandwiches.

Crock Pot Beef and Noodles

February 1, 2014

I got this recipe from crockingirls.com. If you have never been to their website, I highly recommend it! All of their recipes have minimal ingredients, are simple to make, and very delicious.

This particular recipe is perfect for a cold and gloomy day. It is very easy to make, and will make your kitchen smell amazing while it is cooking. It also heats up really well if you want to save the leftovers for the next day.

Ingredients

2 lbs stew meat
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 package onion soup mix
1 package egg noodles, cooked

Instructions

1. Add the stew meat, cream of chicken, and onion soup mix to the crock pot.
2. Fill up both empty soup cans with water and pour in the crock pot.
3. Mix everything up, and cook for 10-12 hours on low.
4. When the beef is done cooking, cook the egg noodles per package instruction and add to the crock pot and mix in with the beef mixture.
